The Bovie® Change-A-Tip™ cauteries offer a safety-enhanced design, with a recessed button to reduce the potential for inadvertent activation. The cautery units are also modified to enable practitioners to “snap off” the end of the cautery for safe and effective removal of the battery power source.
Tips are intended for single use. Do not autoclave. Tips can be disinfected in cold sterile solution; 1oz Chlorhex in 1 gallon of water recommended.
